domineur inc. is the corporate continuation of a sole proprietorship that I have been running for the last ten years, David Marteinson Consulting.

We are a software development and consulting company with particular expertise in the Java platform, systems integration, semantics and modelling.

Hello, I am the principal consultant and owner of domineur inc.

I have wide and deep experience with software development, and in particular I have done a lot of work in the areas of markup technologies such as XML/SGML, RDF/OWL, database applications and telephony.

I have generally worked on either customizable products sold as SDKs or APIs intended for customers to use to create their own products, or traditional in-house database applications.

I participated in the development of a distributed call centre switching system, although quite a long time ago, but I'm still proud of that one even if the product itself goes nameless here.

I am the designer of and implemented the early versions of i4i's Microsoft Word XML addon.

I worked at eHealth Ontario building portlets that could be used to integrate their existing web services for patient drug information and laboratory test data.

Most recently I worked with the guys at ThoughtWire to build a system for integrating and coordinating diverse applications using RDF/OWL.
